This is one of those tools that you don't know you're missing until you have one. I have used a weeder for more years than I want to admit . . . but this is easily my favorite.This arrived in a simple unsealed plastic bag. I find that strange but <shrug> I don't really want to pay for fancy packaging.The handle on this is thicker than any other I have tried and is comfortable to hold for long periods of time thanks to the sider size. The blade and handle are all one piece so no falling apart into two pieces or bending even with use in clay soil or with an especially stubborn weed. The finish reminds me of Teflon and is very easy to clean. It should give an added level of protection that tools without a finish don't have.I only wish that the edge was a bit sharper. They are fairly rounded which means it is harder to hurt yourself with them, but it also means it needs more pressure to make progress in the clay soil. They can't really be sharpened without ruining the finish.Made in China.
