I was looking at a few other car mounts and had my doubts so stumbled upon this one which seemed new and didn't have many reviews. The car mount that I use is pretty basic. attached to the air vent of my car in the middle. The box I received it in isn't that sturdy so I thought it was pre-opened so the packaging could be improved. However, when installed in a car, I can lay my phone on its side to grab my Samsung Z Fold 3. It closes and keeps it on the side. I just wish it could close further when I wanted to mount my phone vertically, but I can see why it doesn't work because it only charges wirelessly when the right side of the phone is placed on the car mount. You can make small improvements to the product, but overall it's pretty good.
