This is another GM trait: poor design, engineering, and material for this app. BE WARNED! I blame GM for this most despicable design. I'm a GM fan. was, is and still is. But that is beyond ignorance. I only bought one to test stuff and I'm happy with this version, but I recommend buying 2 or more (they're cheap) if that also fails. This does not mean it is a defective replacement. You can only do what drives GM, so I don't hold the replacement company responsible in any way. My wife loves her Silverado. My job is to re-glue and replace all the plastic innards and loose parts. So far, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. she cooks well. my wife, no truck.
