I was going to buy a rack mount from Banks but it was half the price so I decided to give it a try. The speaker needed a bit of trimming, but otherwise it fit. Down the torpedo, right by the door, a little short, a small room will appear. Some downward pressure and a light fit would probably do the trick, but I use a dash cover so that was debatable; I do not see. I put 1 Banks Data Monster and 2 of their Super Gauges in it. There is plenty of space for cabling in the mast mount. The color wasn't exactly the same, but after a few coats of Krylon Fusion Paint (a matte finish on plastic) it matched almost perfectly. If you place two columns side by side, the only noticeable difference is the surface finish; I have a 2008 Duramax LTZ 3500 that has a kind of cloth finish on the shaft while the shaft is shiny and textured. Krylon's satin gray paint more or less provided the shine and is almost a perfect color match, close enough when the posts are a few feet apart when set. Hope that helps.
