Review on πŸ”Œ Sanwa EM7000 FET Tester - Genuine Analog Multimeter by Sanwa by Mike Carter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Most sensitive meter

I'm picky about my meters! This one might not be black bakelite, it might not have a carrying handle, it might not have had years of industrial testing like the old Simpson or Triplett. You're right to want one of your own. I learned electronics the old-fashioned way; D'Arsonval Jeweled movement ONLY! Well, if you have a device with a sensitivity of up to 12 million ohms/V, that means nothing. It outperforms my old VTVM. Yes. The thing rocks. This is the last (maybe the ONLY) word in some applications. Sanwa - Please provide us with optional C-CA case for easy purchase. Please find a US retailer. The counter is good enough that I need a case for it. The packaging was stolen by customs. (The box is closed with tape, the tape is cut). Everything is OK. The test leads are Cat II, 1000V, 10A. The probe tips are too large and blunt for my work with surface mount microelectronics. They are covered in gold. I don't think the counter has an auto shutoff. That is good for me; I'd rather change the batteries than leave it off while unknowingly mistaking it for a measurement (which is why my Fluke test tool sits in my desk drawer). . That's right.
