The perfect product for any user!

Background: I have a beard without a mustache and have previously used a Philips RQ 1175 with its detachable trimmer. For my purposes, it was enough, if it was necessary to shorten the beard, I used a comb additionally. In general, it was more or less normal. The razor is inexpensive and shaves, plus you can use it in the shower. But. She fell and the trimmer, how to say, went to smoke. The rotary block remains, with which I only shave my mustache and small areas near the edging. Since the razor heads are large, it was difficult to aim. In general, after the fall I had to buy. I chose according to the criteria: quiet operation; the device is closer to a hair machine than a razor, so that without compromise; self-sharpening blades; adjustable lengths in a wide range, so that you can trim your beard without a comb, and do what the Philips website tactfully called "for cutting the body"; and a small minimum length of the haircut, so that after cutting to zero, there is such a small stump from the hair that the rotary machine can easily take it. I often encountered the last problem on an old typewriter. Total took this one. In the store, the girl said that there is a brown with the same functions, but cheaper, but I preferred this one, because. reviews about this one suited me, plus my blades sharpen themselves (after buying, I looked at the mechanism, all razor blocks really sharpen at work). In short, this is not the cheapest option with such functionality, but I didnโ€™t find it better with self-sharpening blades. It is quite possible to take it as the only device, you can use it to shave the stubble where necessary, and trim the contour, and shorten the length where necessary. This is especially true for those who mostly wear a beard. If you have a bit of a beard and the rest is smooth skin - you will shave for a long time with a regular razor, take the OneBlade better.

Pros
  • - Quiet operation, you can shave behind your ears comfortably. Really decent sounds like a good hairdressing machine, not like a device that wants to kill you, if not by eating you whole, then by destroying your eardrums (like my last machine). - Self-sharpening blades. It's nice that in a couple of years you won't have to take a new one because of dull blades. - Ergonomics and appearance, rubberized body, plastic - gray metallic. Well, changing nozzles is convenient and fast. - 4 years warranty from the manufacturer. But I havenโ€™t read yet what they are responsible for, and for what they will politely send you to re-read the terms of the guarantee. - The minimum haircut length is approximately 0.5 mm, after the trimmer, any razor calmly takes it, for me it was critical. - A lot of attachments: for beards of different lengths, for stubble, even for shaving to zero, there is also for "shaving the body", if you know what I mean ( อกยฐ อœส– อกยฐ). Hair in the nose can also be shortened, but not everywhere, but only on the eve, so to speak, otherwise they will prick (experience, Christmas trees, so that it is not good). - Not afraid of water, if you do not bathe completely, the stump is clear. But you can rinse the nozzles after use, the instructions say how best to do this. - I bought it for 3500 in a well-known store, I didnโ€™t find it cheaper, it was in stock, also a plus. If it were cheaper somewhere, I would have ordered even from MSC, but it wasnโ€™t.
Cons
  • - In 2022, 16 hours of charging with 80 minutes of use? Are you seriously? Maybe this is a technological solution so that the battery lasts a long time, but damn it, this is a quiet horror. There are Li-ion, Li-po batteries, there are already fast charging technologies. They still use Ni-mh still) Even in an old razor, 1 hour of charging and 50 minutes of work! Well, kindergarten, in short. Probably a factor by which they lure 9000 models. And the lack of a 5mm nozzle for the body also looks ridiculous, it's just a piece of plastic for 30 of prime cost, and they squeezed it. Itโ€™s not critical for me, in short, Iโ€™m even on an old razor, where 50 minutes of charging could last several weeks, because I didnโ€™t shave everything to zero every morning, but straightened my beard basically, it will be even longer here. Well, charging 16 hours is not scary. In the morning I put it on charge, in the evening I took it off before going to bed. - Still no battery indicator. This is where it gets really annoying. Well, is it really such a difficult task to build 2-4 LEDs into plastic? artificial inconvenience. As in the 20th century, determine the discharge by the speed of the rotor. Or when it stops. Bread. - As a carrying case - a shameful bag that looks like a vacuum cleaner dust bag. For the old one, there was a custom-tailored cover made of cool smooth artificial fabric with a zipper. There seems to be a better product, but the cover is worse. I would pay 200r for a cover. - No charging dock. For an old razor, there was a cheap piece of plastic with two pins on the edge of the post. You put a razor in it, it touches the docking station with contacts on the body and charges. Stored vertically to save space. It is very convenient, but then they regretted it, and now the charging port is at the bottom. I think if water gets there, the 4-year warranty will turn into a brick worth 3500. In short, these are not shortcomings, but artificial inconveniences so that you buy an older model. I decided not to overpay, but to save money, because. I consider all this. somewhat redundant. But still, realizing all this, you feel like the owner of an iPhone: itโ€™s convenient, cool, but they constantly reach into your pocket for your money.
