False advertising good for exterior accessories

Bought for my 2018 Chevy Hatchback Cruze. It only fits halfway down the tight lid from top to bottom. I also assumed it had some sort of plastic coating to keep water out. It's not like this. Keeps neither dust nor moisture away from the car.
