Nope - Does Not Fit - Just Nope

I really wanted to like this sofa cover, but it simply does not work. I measured our sofa and from the measurements it should fit with room to spare, but because the cover is so awkwardly made it simply does not. First, there is no extra cover for the bottom cushions so this cover relies on tucking and tying - it is not a great system.Once I got the cover on with the tag on the back and tied the ties underneath I discovered that no matter how hard I tried there was simply no way I was going to get the fabric tucked in to the sides and back of the cushions and still have the sofa be usable. Every time I sat down the foam popped out - I'm not a large person either - and the entire cover came undone. This cover is extremely thin and I think if I had been able to make it work, one small scratch from a kid or dog and the whole thing would start to fall apart. The pattern is exactly as pictured, but generic. I don't know how else to describe it. It looks like a knock off print of the one pictured. It is bizarre. The small pillow covers with zippers are the only redeeming part of this whole sofa cover and could be used to cover older pillows.

Pros
  • Very soft and stretchy jersey material. Very happy with this purchase.
Cons
  • The cover might not be a good fit for leather sofas
