My personal motto in some cases: record, record, record! I always try to remember to write down certain situations because you never know when you might need proof of what has been said! Dictaphone! It comes with a charging cable which is a must as it's an old style charging connector and end (I've posted pics so you can see what I'm talking about. It's not a new micro connector). Update: I still think this device is great for most people. I love the size and the features, but it kept falling back on Japanese or Chinese. I keep trying to reset it. It comes with very easy to follow instructions that you will definitely need to get it set up and up and running. There is a power button, a volume up/down button, a play and pause button, a previous and next step button, and a reset button. The face opens very easily for charging. Operating modes:. Repeat mode, time and interval. There is an equalizer for: rock, jazz, funk, hip-hop, classical and techno. Strangely, there is no equalizer for the voice, so all you have to do is find the settings you prefer for the voice. I have a rock face. There is a variable speed setting that uses the volume buttons. Set bookmarks to add, navigate to a bookmark, and remove a bookmark. There is a delete setting that allows you to delete all or just part of what you have entered. This voice recorder is everything I need from a voice recorder, although it is difficult to recognize as a voice recorder, which is what I like best about this device! In my opinion, you should always be able to record at any time. This may not be the case often, depending on what you do professionally, in your free time, and in your personal life. In my opinion, if you have complex health issues, you should never go to a healthcare facility where you are unwilling to keep records, especially if you don't know and trust the provider. In hospitals, especially if you suffer from chronic pain, always write it down! There are too many situations these days where chronic pain sufferers are literally being verbally abused, so welcome the situation with this little voice recorder and you'll be way ahead of the game. Real estate agents are another form of employment where you always have to be ready to write everything down when building or opening a house on your own! I'm not paranoid, I'm cautious. I work in my career as a fraud investigator and analyst and this voice recorder has proved invaluable to my work. In my opinion, this is an ideal and much-needed device. It will prove useful in more ways than I can tell. This would be the perfect gift for someone you want to protect! Especially when they have to record spontaneously! Highly recommended!
