Review on ๐ช Enhanced Performance Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter (3000-watts) by Jerry Bergstad
Despite the instructions, it was not possible to switch on the 1/2 hp motor.
1. Unit very well built. Everything seems solid and well attached. However, despite claims on the GoPower website that it can handle a 1/2hp motor, when I tried to start my 1/2hp jet pump the inverter was overloaded. I was able to start the engine after it was plugged in (by flipping my switch off while the engine was running) but the 1750HD didn't have enough power to start it. I was impressed enough with the build quality to replace this unit with the GoPower GP-3000HD.
