💪 Enhanced Performance Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter (3000-watts) Review

The power supply/amplifier worked for a week then stopped working, it just shows zero no matter how much load I have. The power supply is within acceptable limits resulting in no AC power.

Stored for about 2 years and out of warranty. Installed and ran a 5-day offline test. Continuous offline operation began and a beep sounded, all amplifier indicators lit, the top red voltage indicator lit, and the over-temperature indicator lit. Turned off and back on for days. Overall, it had less than a week of uptime. I called tech support and they have no guarantee. Buy another brand.

This is my second Go Power 1750hd inverter. My first lasted 7 years on our winter trips on our 36ft saddle bike. When I received it last month I was surprised to see how much lighter and smaller it is. I replaced it and checked it out after 10 minutes. Very quietly, a cup of water heated in the microwave, the woman turned on the vacuum cleaner. We usually use our inverter when we are in dry storage and want to watch a movie from TV and PVR to charge our phone and 110v lights.

1. Unit very well built. Everything seems solid and well attached. However, despite claims on the GoPower website that it can handle a 1/2hp motor, when I tried to start my 1/2hp jet pump the inverter was overloaded. I was able to start the engine after it was plugged in (by flipping my switch off while the engine was running) but the 1750HD didn't have enough power to start it. I was impressed enough with the build quality to replace this unit with the GoPower GP-3000HD.

I connected one of these to two 6v golf cart batteries in series. It starts power tools, charges tool batteries and works great. You can leave it on when idle and it consumes next to nothing. It works silently with small loads. When the load is high, the fan turns on. I love how this device allows me to hardwire it into my application instead of having to use built in sockets. After testing friends who had this but older model I bought it to run a 1/3hp swamp cooler motor which worked really well. New model I can say HD but it's just a Chinese built piece of junk like cargo ports. I found the difference for HEAVY Duty is that the inverters are either high frequency or low frequency.
