At 4000 K one of the unfortunately rare products on this market that does not irritate the eyes, dazzles, unnatural 6000 K+ color temperature. Expected range is 20 to 30 feet. I use two and keep a few more on hand for longer trips/darker spots. Reservation helps, but one is enough. EASY INSTALLATION: Very simple, just snap it in place in a second, but check from time to time that it stays that way. Both of my permanents have a ratchet cable tie to be on the safe side, but I'm not that good without it. Value for money: Good, very good in fact I'd say, especially if you're just buying one to cover sheer security needs. Then, for better light coverage and elementary redundancy, there are two of them, etc., etc.
