You get what you pay for. I love the lack of a sole as our modern foot and supportive back are unhappy with all the misplaced cushioning we give ourselves. This allows me to work on my stance and weight distribution since we have to use the balls of our feet more than our heels (look at any other legged mammal). Socks and heels are only needed for balance. In any case, the trailing edge of the shoe is too tight, causing these bad shoes to try and slip one day. With these shoes you always have to tie the laces. I can't wear it more than 4 hours with easy walking. I'm happy to work from home because if I was in them for 8 hours and walked a lot, I would only have to wear my socks towards the end of the day. Hopefully it resolves with time.
