I had a professional upholsterer install the product and we were both impressed with the build quality and durability of this part compared to a standard Nissan part. However, it's only a hair's breadth and stiffer than the stock version, making it difficult to rock the seat back and forth. This puts a lot of strain on the engine and the cheap gearbox. It technically works and is better than a $1,000 whole-seat replacement like Nissan wants to do, but it doesn't fit very well. My installer said he usually just welds and reinforces the stock part, so you can ask someone who can do that instead.
