Review on Pilot Automotive PM-2236AM Motorsport Shift Knob: Effortless Manual/Automatic Shifting at Your Fingertips by Paul Bijeaux

I bought this shift knob to replace my old one on a 1976 VW Baja Bug EMPI shifter. The pen itself is amazing and requires simple assembly which is detailed in the instructions. The included "mounting adapters" are just little soft plastic caps that ripped off on first use because the switch uses three screws to tighten the adapter. The handle fell off. What I did was take out the hex nut that was screwed onto my switch and tighten the knob on it. The gear knob has not moved since and is very sturdy. You may have to redo the attachment but for the price it's definitely worth it and it looks fantastic!
