I bought this radio last December (2020). Since then I keep it in a waterproof boat bag. Today, five months later, I realized that I should probably make sure the radio is charged for the day on the water ahead of me. The radio turns on with the normal initial screen, but then the screen crashes. Nothing but black spots on the LCD. Also, a lot of moisture behind the screen. Also, the rubber antenna failed and separated from the antenna's internal wire. This is supposed to be a waterproof marine radio. It has not been processed or misused. In fact, it was stored in a waterproof boat bag for 5 months just in case. Really disappointed. Next week I will try to claim the 3 year warranty.
