I have two birds in different cages and this is a great alternative to printed newspaper and/or paper towels. Make sure to place it UNDER the grate at the bottom of the cage. It is NOT intended for contact with birds. Virtually dust free, highly absorbent, looks MUCH better than paper and is a lot easier to keep clean with a cat poop scoop. The only downside to buying through Revain? I had a hole in my bag and it got in EVERYTHING - my plastic bags, fell on the floor etc. The company could do a little better by making sure there are no hidden holes in the bag and if there are, simply using a piece of tape will solve the problem. The hole is in a spot that would already be in the bag when placed in the shipping carton, making Revane messy. Nevertheless I will order again!
