This mount uses durable adhesive tape so it will never fall off. It cannot be moved or removed. It should be placed exactly where it is needed in a try. It can hold a large phone or GPS device. It takes 24 hours to fully repair the connection. The only limitation is that the surface must be smooth and free of waves that could restrict the mounting location. The sticky back is flat. Before placing the device on a slightly curved surface, I made a template to keep it curved and then heated it with a hair dryer; then let it cool down. It retained its slightly curved shape long enough to stick to my dashboard.
