I bought this mount in 2012 and have used it many times with multiple phones so I feel I know the pros and cons well. It fits my bike well and pivots comfortably which gives a good viewing angle. Unlike other mounts, it doesn't have a screen cover, meaning it doesn't suffer from limited visibility or lack of touchscreen responsiveness, but there will be some issues if it rains. I've never had a phone that didn't fit, even when wearing a case. I've used a Samsung Galaxy S4, S5 and S6 and a Nexus 5x and they all fit well. That being said, this product does a poor job of keeping the phone in its holder. I've had the phone pop up many times when hitting a bump, sometimes resulting in damage to my device. I had to learn to pick up my cell phone every time I pulled down a curb or saw a bumpy sidewalk approaching. The mount works well if you've only ridden on flat roads before, but be careful if you plan to ride on rough terrain. The case I had on the Galaxy S6 was a bit rounded which only made the problem worse. However, using it without a case is out of the question because I broke the display of my Galaxy S5. Thankfully, my case has protected my S6 from many falls. One day I quickly hit a bump and the entire holder detached from the mount, which really annoyed me. For some, a rubber band helps, but does not protect against such a malfunction (and spoils the user experience). Overall I would recommend a different product.
