I bought this mount in 2012 and have used it many times with multiple phones so I feel I know the pros and cons well. It fits my bike well and pivots comfortably which gives a good viewing angle. Unlike other mounts, it doesn't have a screen cover, meaning it doesn't suffer from limited visibility or lack of touchscreen responsiveness, but there will be some issues if it rains. This was perfect for my night rides with my Trek 7.2. It didn't fit exactly so I had to use an extra washer I got from another product for my bike. I don't really care, and if you have slip issues you can use anything to pull it up. The first thing that comes to mind is to take a wide piece of tape and roll it inward so the sticky part is completely covered and doesn't get on your bike. I wanted my bike to take it on a Labor Day weekend ride. I researched several brands and settled on this one because of the elastic strap. I've read too many stories about phones falling off bikes. Well, if the phone falls off my motorcycle, it's unlikely to survive if I ever find it again. It was very easy to mount it on the steering wheel.
