The hotel we stayed at only had a Tesla charger so this adapter was a life saver. It plugs into the Tesla charging cable and connects the charger to an E-Tron using a J-1772. No disturbances. Easy to attach. Seems well done. The only possible disadvantage: The adapter is designed for 40 amps. If the Tesla charger is faster, it may not work. Tesla Tap has adapters that are rated for 60 or 80 amps. Might be the best investment to buy one of these.
