I completely redid the diaper compartment and never tried a single pre-fold. I have always used all Bumgenius all in one diapers or flip diapers. But I wanted to get diapers baby after baby after baby. So I started doing some prefold research. I'm a picky cloth diaper. :) And for me it is very important that the diaper is bulky. But as the saying goes, I really wanted a diaper that lasted all night. My babies sleep through the night from the second month. And my 16-month-old wakes up every morning with a loaded disposable diaper that's about to leak. She goes to bed at 7:30 p.m. and gets up at 7:30-8:30 a.m. So you can see that her diaper is working overtime. I despise wet sheets and picky kids because their diaper leaked and woke them up. I bought a pack of 3 BabyKicks Hemp Prefolds. I bought the size Large for my rather short, very fat 16 month old girl. I bought these with the intention of simply tucking a diaper folded lengthways into a Thirsties Duo Wrap OR a Bummis Super Whisper Wrap. Well, first of all, I ordered one more number than I needed. It is an inch or two longer than a size 2 Thirsties Duo Wrap at its largest clasp. And due to the dimensions, it is simply inconvenient to fold it forward, it turns out a huge, hard, bulky handle in front. So I folded them in thirds and put them in the flip diaper bag. The flips have a small extra piece of PUL on the front, making them perfect for tucking in a diaper, making them less likely to fall out and get wet on baby's clothes. . The first night I tried BabyKicks Cannabis Prefolds I was very scared. But I put her to bed and hoped for the best. I haven't had any good experiences with night diapers. The next morning she slept as late as usual and when she woke up I excitedly opened her diaper and was shocked to see that there was still suction in it! I could hardly believe it! So she wore them as night diapers and she has a very, very happy mom! Can I recommend these diapers? For daytime? no To the night? YES YES YES and YES! I also highly recommend these diapers for day trips and travel. Hemp has such a nice, soft, dry feel. Your baby will thank you! I will be buying more of these in the right medium size for my little lollipop.
