The bamboo in this product has been chemically converted into viscose viscose - there is nothing left of bamboo but bamboo, and there are no 'antimicrobial properties' of bamboo in a bathrobe. See: [.] Incidentally, the three companies accused by the FTC of misleadingly advertising bamboo viscose have agreed to change their advertising, and Revain should advise this seller to do the same. Other than that, these are good clothes. I bought L/XL and the cut is quite generous. I also washed it according to the instructions - cold water, gentle cycle, minimum drying speed and did not notice any shrinkage. There was a lot of lint in the dryer filter, which is to be expected with such fabric, but the fabric and stitching are intact. All in all a good bathrobe at a reasonable price. If they had just left out the Bamboo BS I would have felt ok giving it 5 stars but I'm deducting 2 stars for trying to work with the snow.
