
I have a 2008 F150 with Triton v8. I drove 100,000 km with it and never had any problems. But a few months ago the Check Engine light came on and it started to go away. Did a little research and found out about coil and spark plug issues on the Ford v8 modular car. In the afternoon I changed the spark plugs and ignition coils. It's not an easy task, especially when you have to twist your arms and body to get to the spark plug closest to the firewall. But these things look just like the ones I took off and seem to be working great. A drive around the block and the check engine light went out and my pickup runs much better.
