My son needs sandals for the summer. He is very active and ordinary sandals would not suit him. I found them and they protect his legs well. When he first put them on he had a small problem: the top strap rubbed on the top of the foot around the ankles. He solved this problem by wearing short socks for a few days. Now they don't bother him at all and oppose his rough actions, water splashes and everything else. Easy to clean when dirty. I bought him a size 1 even though he's usually a size 13 but wasn't sure if he would fit because sometimes he's between sizes. Size 1 is a little big, but it doesn't cause him any problems. You are not very relaxed. We're just tweaking the velcro straps a bit to make them tighter and they should last him next summer too. Except for a strong growth spurt.
