Review on MICHELIN Latitude Cross 235/60 R16 104H summer by Micha Maciejowicz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product, best quality.

Rubber operated on the RX300 on pneuma, set exactly a year ago. Total rollover for all seasons, including -38 and +40. I live in the Urals, in a small town. The roads are cleaned and sprinkled with sand/siftings, we don't have reagents, but due to the low traffic intensity, snow rolls everywhere for 4-5 months. in a year. I work in construction - daily primers sprinkled with stones and gravel, dirt - as much as you want, I'm really satisfied with the rubber. TOTAL: A truly versatile tire for all seasons. Peculiarities: 1) - there is a period when rubber can be heard on a dry road in the speed range from 40-50 km / h. - on a wet road, noise also appears in the first five minutes of rain -if the street is +30 and above, there is also a little noise BUT! it's not a howl or a rumble, it's just a noise at the limit of hearing (if the music doesn't play at all) the rest of the time the rubber is completely imperceptible (even without music) 2) there are no damages for the year, while several times it flew into the pits at high speed and the collapse went a few degrees, but there was no damage at all. There are also no cuts from gravel stones. The reinforced sidewall works - the curbs have a rest . For a year it has never let us down. 3) in winter, on ice, they made a visual comparison with studded tires - there is not much difference. In general, I began to drive 10 km / h slower on the highway - I feel confident even without spikes. Never been in a skid. In winter, on any surface - the brake is "to the floor" - you feel the slowdown immediately, the rubber does not slip. 4) - at -30 and colder there is an important point: the first 2-3 km after the start of movement (in the morning, on frozen tires) Latitude Cross does not slow down at all! just like ice skating. Then something happens to her (maybe the temperature rises), and then all day long it’s as if you are driving on an ordinary winter Velcro. I wrote a review only because I chose this rubber based on the reviews written here - so to speak, I return the debt;). Good luck to all!

Pros
  • All year round tire. Mud, country roads made of stones, asphalt 160 km / h - the flight is normal.
Cons
  • For universal rubber - no
