Nice camera. After using the Minolta D7D, this camera appears to be more of a plaything. Yet, the construction and materials used are of a high caliber. There are benefits as well as drawbacks associated with the high resolution of the matrix. On the one hand, you are able to obtain photographs with extremely high resolution and more creative leeway when cropping. But, this is only possible with high-quality optics and ideal shooting conditions. The camera is somewhat noisier than the older model because of the higher pixel density; however, if you bring the photographs to the same quality, then there will be no difference. All of this opens up a little bit more room for creative expression. I believe that the camera's electronic viewfinder is one of its most notable strengths. Complete coverage of the frame, including the ability to preview the image exactly as it will appear on the film. You have the ability to display a significant quantity of supplementary data, and there is an electronic level. Even though there is a marginal delay when working in dim light, the benefits still much outweigh the drawbacks. Because the 65 does not have an autofocus adjustment feature, unlike the A77, it is not possible to use lenses with front- or back-focus capabilities. This is a limitation that can be somewhat irritating. The number of autofocus points is substantially lower than the 77th, which is the main reason why there are so many missed opportunities. But, if you shoot the video right away using compression in MP4, then artifacts will be obvious in the final product despite the fact that the video's quality is quite high. It is recommended to record in AVCHD and then process the footage using a different application. The ability to focus while shooting works very well, but when using it, a lens that is completely silent is required because the sound of the motor and, in particular, the "screwdriver" is extremely loud.
