Having heard so much about the versatility and power of Mikrotik RouterOS, I decided to give them a try after years of using TPLink products. , as the router can manage the network at different levels, from physical ports to IP and MAC. It is very powerful in terms of all the settings and settings that can be made BUT hard to get to, there are some simple settings to use it as a hotspot, WISP, internet router and hotspot. But in general it is NOT EASY to set up. In my experience I'm not happy with the range and performance of the wireless network, I bought it expecting a noticeable difference in range and speed, but honestly I'm not impressed at all. Very good as a custom router, but no. as a wireless device.
