Not ideal for a small dog
My pup is a 4lb Maltipoo. He quickly realized that he could get food by pressing the button. But the button is a bit slippery and not very sensitive to him. He confidently pushed the button, but he didn't have the strength to get the button to send out a recorded voice saying "eat." He tried a few more times and angrily refused to push the button.
