Probably more like 2.5 stars

You can hold something hot for longer than if you didn't have any gloves on, but at 400 degree F oven temperature, you have 10 seconds to pick it up and put it down. That's plenty of time under normal circumstances, but when you've got a holiday dish and your kitchen is crowded with people and you need someone to make a space because your countertops are full of other holiday dishes, you quickly run out of time and need to put your dish back into the oven to keep your hands from burning. Once…

Pros
  • I don’t know how I ever used other kinds before. These are amazing. I’m sticking to them forever
Cons
  • Worked great for heat resistance. Just cumbersome.

Comfortable and heavy weight.

So far, they have met my personal grilling needs. I have experienced heat when holding on to something very hot for more than a few seconds. Although, as said, they serve me well, I don't think I'll risk picking up anything near the temperature as advertized.

Pros
  • I really like the quality of these gloves but they were too big for my hands. Definitely made for men.
Cons
  • While dry they did the trick. But I got one wet and if feels like it took a week to dry.

Perfect Gloves good for me

I purchased these because I was burning hands and fingers getting food out of the microwave. These gloves are easy to use. I've used them everyday since their arrival. The only very small issue is that they are a little tight until you wear them a few times. They then seem to loosen up.

Pros
  • Protective Mitts & Potholders
Cons
  • They may not work well for individuals with hand injuries or disabilities

Tight cuffs in my review

The gloves provide great heat resistance, but the cuffs are a bit tight on my husband's average sized arms. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • High quality and all around much better than other significantly higher priced gloves I used.
Cons
  • The gloves may not fit well for individuals with small hands

Amazing heat resistance

These gloves are great. They have more dexterity than regular oven mitts or pot holders. I have felt zero heat through them removing items out of the oven or microwave.

Pros
  • Suitable for use with a variety of kitchen and grill tools, including tongs, spatulas, and skewers
Cons
  • They may not provide enough flexibility to grip small objects

High Quality good for me

These are high quality material. They fit very snug and protect well above the wrist. Haven't washed them yet so cannot comment on shrinkage. So far have just wiped them off to remove anything picked up. I would definitely recommend these.

Pros
  • Upgraded Size: Based on customer feedback, we upgraded the gloves size to suit most people hand. 8 inches palm lengths palm plus extra 5.7 inches wrist guard lengths is enough to protect your fingers, hands, wrists and forearm. 4.7 inches cuff width let you easy to take on or off and provide stretchy to fit most hand size.
Cons
  • The gloves may stick to hot items or surfaces

Very heat resistant

The gloves fit well and are very hear resistant. Use them when grilling and with our outdoor wood stove. They may not provide enough grip to handle heavy items.

Pros
  • I remove a cast iron pot from the oven at 500 degrees. I bought two more because they work.
Cons
  • They may not provide enough grip to handle heavy items

Nice gloves: my feedback

They work very well for their purpose. I gave a 3 star for comfort because if you have bag hands like I do, they are hard to get on & off

Pros
  • Seem to be a good grill glove. Too small for hubby hands. He wears size 14 ring.
Cons
  • They may be too bulky and inhibit dexterity

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable: my feedback

I got these because I got tired of not having use of my fingers when stirring hot foods and lifting hot pans. They fit well and are comfortable with grips to keep things from slipping.

Pros
  • Great heat protection, but a little hard to put on and take off. Plus, cleaning is really tough.
Cons
  • The gloves may not protect against burns from grease or hot liquids

Revainrating 3 out of 5

not nearly as heat resistant as they claim

Don't know who rated these gloves, but they are severely overrated. You will feel heat when holding a pan at 350 degrees and it becomes uncomfortable at 450. The gloves are not much better at heat resistance than a pair of regular oven mittens. The fact that they are cloth means they are pretty well useless when trying to lift something out of a steaming pot, The fingers are a plus, in that they do allow more dexterous manipulation of pans than a mitten does. If you are looking for heat…

Pros
  • Enhanced Heat Resistant: Our grilling gloves provide higher heat Resistant (1472°F) form older gloves(934°F). When you are cooking, baking, pot-holding, smoker grill handling and you can focus on your cooking things. Note: They are heat resistant, not heat proof.
Cons
  • They may be too thick to perform delicate tasks

Comfortable, well fitted, and high heat tolerance. My griddle runs around 600° on high and I barely even notice it when I’m scraping the rubbish into the grease trap.

Pros
  • Bought for son-in-law for a gift. He loves them
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for handling sharp or pointed objects

A good buy,but has 1 downside

The materials are strong,it does the job of resisting the heat and was easy to clean. The fingertips are a bit Gecko-ey,by which I mean the tips were a bit too large, which made using my fingers for anything other than holding bulky spatulas or grill items,a bit of a challenge. Still.not a bad buy

Pros
  • Ease of use and longer cuffs for forearm protection.
Cons
  • The gloves may stain easily

Good for the money for my opinion

Good heat resistance but I doubt they truly resist what they’re rated for. I can pull my cast iron pans from a 500 degree oven and they work well for my wok and gas burner but anything hotter than that and you’ll start feeling the heat. I also wouldn’t go holding onto something 500 degrees for too long cause it will start to get uncomfortable pretty quick.

Pros
  • Good product. I've already put them to use. Comfortable and they work.
Cons
  • They may not be able to protect against all types of heat sources

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Look great good for me

These gloves look great, but not sure about the 1,400+ degree heat claim. I grabbed the handle of my cast iron pan off the grill. I doubt it was close to 1,400 degrees and the heat went through to my hand very quickly. Thankfully no burns, I was able to put it down quickly. Otherwise, I really like the gloves.

Pros
  • Son buenos
Cons
  • The grip may not be as strong as advertised

Good gloves for handling anything hot

They fit fairly well, but after a very short while they can get very hot, and the gloves themselves hold a lot of heat. But not terrible by any means, and I use a 2 quart pot for heating things or cooking anything boiled like pasta, on my small grill, with the top closed on the grill, so that handle gets very hot indeed!

Pros
  • Protect your hands from temperatures up to 1472°F!
Cons
  • They may not be able to withstand exposure to flames

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not the devil’s hands

Comfortable snug fit gloves up to their job. Well made and with an original design they have a good grip but the heat can be felt immediately after only 3 or 4 seconds holding a very hot object - like a dutch oven pot that has been in an oven at 450 for half an hour.

Pros
  • Easy to Clean & Store: Machine washable and hand wash as you like. Loop in the inside cuff, when not in use, you can be hanged your oven gloves on a hook to store or dry.
Cons
  • They may not work well for left-handed individuals

Interesting Gloves!

They have a unique appearance, good fit even for a man with big hands!Have not had them in a extreme environment over 700 degrees but they have worked well otherwise!

Pros
  • Very comfortable and easy to clean
Cons
  • The gloves may fade or discolor over time

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Worth The Price: my feedback

I don't have small or large hands, but found the gloves somewhat tough to slip on. All things considered they did perform their primary function of shielding my hands and arms from the extreme heat of the grill.

Pros
  • good heat resistance. can pick up hot coals with no issues. Comfortable
Cons
  • They may cause discomfort if worn for extended periods

Small/Tight fit - hard to put on

I needed a new set of BBQ gloves. These looked good and were priced right. I think my hands are average men's size and these gloves take time to get on and take off. My last set was made of leather and were large/easy to put on and take off. Just something to consider.

Pros
  • Although the fire box on my smoker was red hot, I didn’t feel any heat. Definitely worth the $$
Cons
  • They may not work well in cold weather conditions
