I purchased these to use while grilling and other cooking and found that they work as advertised.The only thing I now wish is that I had ordered the one with longer wrist/arm covering rather than the short version.

Use these for camp fire cooking and backyard bbq. Great protection but snug fit to get in. Size smaller than expected. That's my review.

These gloves are a must have for grillers who need to be hands-on. I purchased these to assist with grilling corn on the cob. It lets me peel back the shuck without burning my hands or having to manage awkward utensils. They protect your hands, although you can still fee the heat if you hang on too long or too tight.I use these often and while they're not the most comfortable gloves in the world, they protect my hands and have helped make some amazing meals.

These gloves are better than nothing, but are not 100%, as you can still get some pretty significant heat coming through. They are comfortable and easy to clean.

Got these to replace our old skimpy oven mitts. My future son-in-law, husband, daughter & I feel very comfortable wearing these in the kitchen or near the BBQ as they are AMAZING! So protective & comfortable! Excellent purchase!

Looks to be excellent protection. The negative is that it is heavy to the point of being almost uncomfortable. I am new to using these gloves to handle high heat items. I just might look for a lighter, less protective, pair for use when my Kamado grill is not really hot hot. But, if the grill really is hot, this is what you want.

These are great gloves and they have good heat resistance for shuffling things around a smoker, placing a smoke tube, etc. The only issue I have is that they're thick and bulky. You can't stretch a glove around them so you don't get them dirty while shredding some meat. I still use them but I've ended up buying a box of gloves that included some of the knit liners. I would purchase these again but I would go with the short ones. The longer wrist cover doesn't really add much and is troublesome…

I do not have very large hands-- 8.5 inches around the palm just below the knuckle and I can't span an octave on the piano. I normally fall in the medium range for U.S. sizes. These gloves are uncomfortably small on me and the fingers are too short. I passed them along to my daughter, for whom they work well.

Holding cast iron pans that came straight off the grill or out of the oven, one realised that one can at best hold them for 1 minute. I had expected better, but it maybe all that can be expected.
