I have worked on pool tables for years and always use the standard 3 foot spirit level across the table and it is functional most of the time and certainly takes time and I am onto one Bump bumped bottom hell, so I guess that's not it. However, by using 4 360° spirit levels I was able to place them on all four corners in front of the pockets and god that made it easier because it levels 360° and much faster. and it's just cheap stuff. but they work fine there.
