I have had to install a lot of T fence posts, I use a 1"1/8 x18 drill bit to pre-drill into the ground instead of using a slide hammer on a sledge hammer which is very rough and tricky, but on my sds hammer drill didn't have a plumb scale so i siliconized one of these steps on my sds drill when it was plumb with a bit in a vise, it worked great and as i drilled i could watch how I made sure I drilled a plumb for each post hole!

I have worked on pool tables for years and always use the standard 3 foot spirit level across the table and it is functional most of the time and certainly takes time and I am onto one Bump bumped bottom hell, so I guess that's not it. However, by using 4 360° spirit levels I was able to place them on all four corners in front of the pockets and god that made it easier because it levels 360° and much faster. and it's just cheap stuff. but they work fine there.

I bought this to attach to a cordless drill for plumb vertical drilling and it does the job. This drill had a horizontal plane, but I tend to use it for vertical holes. I bought these to align a tripod which was not included. While there is no substitute for alignment in the frame, I often shoot from uneven surfaces and zooming in by adjusting your feet saves a lot of time as only minor adjustments are needed to get good results. It's not true that they only have two positions, horizontal or not. . They're small, which makes the changes dramatic, but that doesn't mean you can't tell up close if you need to make subtle adjustments and in what direction. A level
