Effective at neutralizing odd flavors in water. Not the original LG version, but claims the same standards of performance.

This is the second time we've purchased these filters through Walmart and were not disappointed. The refrigerator is in our motorhome so we're exposed to many different types of water.some good, some bad. We've been pleased with the performance of the filters.

This replacement worked just great for my refrigerator and was much less expensive than the Kenmore replacements ordered from Sears.

Bought the LG LT700P. Great price for the 3 pack. My only complaint is after installation, my water comes like a water hose. But I can't verify it's from the filter. I am happy with this purchase and will buy again.

I had gone months without replacing my filter because I could never remember the part number. Finally remembered to look it up and was again shocked at the price point of the LG manufacturer filters. Overall I have been pretty disappointed in my LG refrigerator, which stopped working at 2 years old and even with a warranty cost me nearly $1,000 to fix and a lot of headaches. Anyway. I digress. Loving these filters. Water is tasting great!

I’ve purchased these many times. They work great! I mainly use the water from the fridge for ice and to fill my humidifiers up. I don’t get the white dust using the water from these!

Installation is the same as higher quality filters.Flush with x # of gallons before drinking.Flavor was fine at first, but only for about 6 weeks.The higher quality filters I have bought, usually name brand (LG in my case) have lasted SO much longer!Disappointed, but you get what you pay for!

Was looking for quality and value. These filters make the water taste good plus I thought the price was fair.They were a bit of a struggle to get in though.

Took a chance ordering off brand and I was completely surprised and happy at the quality and cost savings Susceptible to mold and mildew growth if not replaced regularly.

Stay up to date with replacements for the best results. Water has no taste, but one detects a softer quality on the tongue.

I was hesitate to purchase from the reviews. Works just like the expensive ones. Install and fill a glass or two until the water is clear. Yes there will be moment when the water kinda squirts everywhere (it’s due to air in the line). Works great. Taste great for half the price

Per the pics, these replacement filters are slightly shorter at the stem than the original, stock LG filters. This may be to allow them to fit other applications. I ordered the PRO version of this brand since the base version stated they would not reduce harmful chemicals like other name-brand filters would. The base filters appear to handle particulates only. I will update this review if the filters leak, change the taste of the water or otherwise wear out prematurely.

Did not fit the refrigerator model they are supposed to fit, LG LT700P. Original mfr brand and one other off-brand that we have purchased fit fine - these did not - the tabs aren't the right size/position. Unfortunately we did not need them until recently so didn't discover the problem in time to return them.

I had ordered this product for our new fridge. Usually in the past i would only order OEM replacements at 3+ times the cost, figured I would give them a try. Well I may have made a mistake when I ordered the part as it didn't fit and send a message to customer service (Erica). Imagine water tasting good and then tasting even better than that. What can be said about these little torpedo devices that hasn't already been said. Beyond that, after removing them, I paint them gray like little air compressors and I use them in my miniaturized chemical factory that sits next to my "M" gauge railroad. It just don't get no better than that, Phil. They're just too cool to just throw away.

I was very satisfied with the purchase, I bought it because it appears it is certified with key regulatory bodies that govern water filter manufacturing and standards and at the same time an apparent good value. It was shipped promptly, and well packaged. The filter was a good fit, no leaks. The water tastes good, its not Fiji water, but no complaints given its tap water. I would recommend this product to a friend.

In the last few years, I’ve purchased the 3 pack of these filters 3 times. When the Sears price went up to over 50.00 for one filter, I searched on Walmart and found these. They are a godsend. I get 3 filters for about 30.00, so, around 10.00 per filter. They are actually better than the ones Sears sells. The water tastes better, and the ice is clearer. Product appears to be well made and fits perfectly. It is hard to tell how well the it filters water but the water taste is good. US test certification of purity from independent website would increase confidence in filter performance. Great price!
