IDK about flavor but what I do know is it has none, only a pleasant, fresh filtered water taste it should have. On my LG unit it’s super easy to access and replace the filter but that’s because it’s one of the best appliance manufacturers out there (another review). However I would believe that most all units that aren’t short of antique certification used out there have an easy installation for its filter (Using this particular filter PN). Surprising to me these filters last much longer than the three weeks you might get from the expensive OEP. I’m still on the first one and approaching the required 6 mo time change date. It appears to perform as it’s suppose to and for a fair price. I’m satisfied and unless that changes you won’t hear from me on this item again.Has to make you wonder if the manufacturers of appliances that sell replacement filters aren’t intentionally soaking us?
