I have had to install a lot of T fence posts, I use a 1"1/8 x18 drill bit to pre-drill into the ground instead of using a slide hammer on a sledge hammer which is very rough and tricky, but on my sds hammer drill didn't have a plumb scale so i siliconized one of these steps on my sds drill when it was plumb with a bit in a vise, it worked great and as i drilled i could watch how I made sure I drilled a plumb for each post hole!
