I love love the design of this vest. Once I got it fitted to my dog I could easily pick her up like a briefcase. The soft fabric around the front strap is a huge improvement over others I have tried that rubbed her. Unfortunately for my little girl it did not work. All I can figure out is that XS is just a tad too long and it bothers her soft skin where her back legs join her body. She just freezes and won’t move or walk in it. No treats or coaxing can convince her. For reference: she is a 7.8 pound Min Pin and measures 15” girth, 11” tummy and 10” long from base of neck to hip bones. I just think the XS vest is a little to big for a dog her size. I so wish it had worked because it is really nice.
