Sorry I can't update the system. I can't get most apps to play movies. I've tried installing many ways but it just tells me Google Play needs an update. There is no way to update Google Play on this device. When I check for updates it says the system is already on the latest version. It says Android 6 which is very old. If you want to connect a flash drive or Apple TV to it, this will work. But an embedded operating system is more pain than it's worth. Cheap projector from China.
