I installed this on a 2004 Toyota 4Runner. I have an aftermarket stereo: Pioneer AVH-X491BHS. Initially, during installation, I got an error message from the stereo system: Incompatible USB. Back then, I connected the USB cable to the USB cable that came with the Pioneer stereo. After I disconnected the USB cable that came with the Pioneer stereo and connected the USB connector cable directly to the stereo, the error disappeared. I contacted MOTOG with the above error. They reacted immediately. They were very quick and polite. I informed them that I had solved the problem and that it was not their problem.
