Warning: The packaging has a different model number than the one on the outside

I have a QNAP and a Synology NAS. The HDWG160XZSTA is compatible with both NAS, but the model number differs from the one stated on the box: HDWG160UZSVA is not on either company's list of approved drives. Sent back one set, same problem with the second. I tried the first drives, they were not recognized by the NAS. It's not really the drive's fault, I'm pretty sure they work great in the right application.
