Just installed these today, did it all myself and quite frankly I love them. They are nice and bright at night and look very cool when it's dark outside. That being said, I've heard that some people have had issues with the 3m tape. I personally don't think there's anything wrong with the tape itself, it has more to do with the type of surface it's placed on, for example I've had textured plastic panels. at the bottom of the front, and 3m didn't seem to like it so I just took some clear tape instead and found a wiring harness to just tape it to and for my rear seats underneath were both nice and smooth plastic slats and to be honest be, the 3m tape stuck to it with no problem. In my experience the only issue I had was trying to use 3m tape with textured plastic. My advice is if that happens just take some clear tape and look under your foot, you should see a bunch of wrapped wires. Tape and just use clear tape and tape both sides and you will be good.
