I bought this hand shower because my wife kept complaining about the lack of water pressure. We also have very hard water in the house, so our shower head becomes quite uncomfortable very quickly with visible limescale and mineral deposits on the surface of the shower head. This probably contributed to the low water pressure as scale and mineral deposits clogged the jets. This is why I had to replace our hand held shower every few years and chose this one as this shower head is said to have antimicrobial technology which inhibits the growth of mold, mildew and bacteria for less clogging and more water pressure. were very happy with this hand shower because it has six adjustable water jets and they all have good water pressure. My wife was totally impressed with the water pressure and even commented that one of the settings had too much water pressure for our kids. However, I bought this on October 17, 2017, i.e. exactly 1 year ago and for the last time. At night, water started spurting out of the hose and it turned out that the inside of the hose was cracked. I'm not sure if it's related to our hard water, but I've never had this issue with other handheld shower hoses in the past. I used to have to change my hand shower every few years because the shower head looked disgusting and was losing water pressure due to limescale and mineral buildup, but never because of a crack or leak in the shower hose. that if you read reviews of this product from other buyers there are some other cases of this issue that have been reported so it seems like AquaDance is having some hose quality issues which is very unfortunate because the shower head itself is quite amazing is. I'm not sure why they had to include a cheap shower hose with a shower head that claims to have antimicrobial technology. Why invest in R&D to create an amazing shower head only to fall short of consumer expectations and satisfaction when paired with a cheap shower hose? Maybe their strategy is to sell more? Anyway I just ordered another AquaDance hand shower to give them another chance. I'd like to think I was unlucky and got a broken one, but if the hose starts leaking again I'll buy a separate heavy duty shower hose and replace the one AquaDance supplied and keep the shower head to myself. I will update this review to let you know how my second experience with the AquaDance handheld shower went in the future. I give 3 stars because the shower head itself is pretty amazing but they lost 2 stars because of the cheap shower hose.
