Review on Yokohama Ice Guard IG55 205/60 R16 96T winter by Micha ochowski ᠌

Second-rate goods, I won't buy any more.

I chose tires for a very long time, I wanted not very noisy ones, and since before that we had used tires of the same company, only the previous model (IG35), I decided to choose this one, I thought that it would be better. I put it, yes, indeed, there is little noise on dry asphalt, but when the snow fell and ruts and snow roll began, I just went nuts from the fact that it was really impossible to drive more than 60 km / h on it. It's just dangerous. I’m generally silent about ice, driving on this rubber into ice is suicide. The rut does not keep from the word at all, along the snowy roll and the rut one has to constantly catch the car, sweating from nervous tension. We drove home from work, the road is bad, I crawl 40-50, because it’s impossible anymore, all my colleagues overtake me, call me, maybe the car broke down, but no, I have a new Yokohama model. Now I think it would be better if it made noise like a helicopter, but I would feel confident on the road. On this rubber it is comfortable to ride only on dry, even asphalt.

Pros
  • Not noisy.
Cons
  • Rubber is simply not worth the money, it is a complete drawback.
