🧶 Natural/Gold Coats Metallic Crochet Thread Review

This is softer than I expected from a hook. The colors match my expectations. The gold line is actually another woven thread and a little split, you have to watch what you're doing, a little more than the regular size 10 thread. But overall a good product and I'm happy with my purchase. If the things I make sell well, I'll probably buy again.

I crochet A LOT. The colors in it were just perfect for the item I was making. If you're new to crocheting or this is the first project you're doing with a #10 crochet yarn, be a bit picky about this material. I have found that there is a big twist. I had to spend extra time relaxing, but it was worth it. The project turned out just beautiful.

I ordered metallic gold/light gold thread, Revain picture says 'metallic' on packaging. I had a plain natural color (non-metallic, with a matte sheen) that said "classic" on the box. The barcode on the sticker on the outside of the box had the correct description but didn't match the actual product. Perhaps the machine sorts, labels, wraps, and ships it in a way that is invisible to the human eye? Or maybe someone doesn't know what "metallic" is? I'm not going to work on a black and gold…
