Coats Crochet Classic Thread Myrtle Review

I used to buy this product elsewhere and couldn't find it so I bought it here and I have to say I was more than disappointed with the color change. As you can see from the photos I posted the colors in the product I received are very light. The website shows a much darker purple than what I received in the mail. The one I got goes from white to a lighter shade of purple, the one I thought was light purple to a much darker purple. The image on the website is misleading and needs to be removed or

I crochet a lot – doilies, lace fringes, etc. – and Aunt Lydia is one of my favorites. It's one of the most economical options (compared to "luxury" brands) and consistently works well for the things I love to do. The colors are lovely too - I chose this "cream" to use with some small crocheted mandalas. The yellowish tone worked great with Aunt Lydia's other colors (corn etc) to achieve the desired effect, from light (mid) to dark. I can definitely recommend it - good quality at a good price…

Amazing stitch resolution. If I want to show beginners how to recognize the different parts of a stitch, I'll show them this. This is great for creating lace projects. Depending on your needs, you may need one of Aunt Lydia's finer crochet yarns. In comparison, #10 is significantly thicker than sewing thread but much thinner than sports thread.
