Amazing blender for the price

Our old blender finally broke after over 15 years of use and we just needed a cheap replacement as we don't use it that often. When I bought the Oster Pro 1200 it was $70, so it was the perfect combination of power (1200W), price ($70), and features (food processor). We only used part of the blender and it's better than our old blender in every way. We make smoothies every day and it does a great job. Ice isn't a problem, this thing just destroys it in seconds. We're not fans of blenders so this thing is perfect for the basic stuff we need for blending and so far it's very capable. I can't believe what you get for this price. Maybe I've been living under a rock the whole time but it has everything we need, I was expecting to pay over $150 for a blender this good. Now for the only CON: Be very careful when opening the packaging. Opened the package, there is a nozzle for cutting food with EXTREMELY SHARP BLADES. There is cardboard packaging covering the blade with bright warnings that it is very sharp. However, only one blade was covered in our package, the other somehow slipped off, so that I cut my hand without realizing it. The blade was so sharp I didn't know I cut myself until my wife pointed out that my hands were bleeding. Stronger tape on the cardboard covering the blades prevents this for a blender newbie like me.
