Review on Baja Designs LED Pair Spot by Chris Hernandez

This is my sixth set of Baja Designs lights to add to my cars. I live away from the hills and commute 50 miles into the city for work, which means I leave home during the winter months and return home in the dark. High beams don't bother, but coyotes, deer, skunks, and all the other woodland creatures that head for Snow White love to run onto the road. I am sorry to say that some of them died prematurely as a result. (Don't tell Snow. She'll probably send little miners to kick my door down.) Anyway, two years ago I bought two pairs of Squadron Pro headlights (Spot and High) for the front of my truck. Holy walking things, Batman! These things light up the world! On a single flat stretch of road, they illuminate traffic signs 1.6 MILES ahead! Without exaggeration. Not that I can read them, but I can definitely see how they react to me. With that evidence on my side, I've added more headlights to my other cars and have never looked back. However, the local vulture population hates these fires as they have reduced them to searching for other sources of fresh food. They don't really care about the fresh part, let's face it. In any case, all my other flashlights have been staggers and this is my first set of S1 flashlights which I bought to ensure longer life for these cute creatures and myself. . Installed them on my motorcycle (Honda CRF250L Rally) and BOOM! And night becomes day again. While less powerful than the squadrons, they each emit as much light as the factory high beam headlights. On the plus side: the ability to see far ahead and completely blind the oncoming jerk with the headlights on. The downside: you can be an idiot. with blinding lights on. DO NOT forget to turn them off as soon as you see another vehicle or you will endanger everyone. I compared them to the cheaper but heavily publicized versions of this old and well-known off-road headlight supplier, whose initials are both K and C. Similar to the recently famous Reed and Guide. These guys make great products, but they literally pale in comparison. For me, two years of regular use and jumps on dirt roads and dirt roads, rain, dust, even snow and ice, and they just keep pumping out lumens.
