Bright thing! Bought for my special needs daughter who is grown but still doesn't like dark rooms. She loves colors! This thing meets those requirements, but it's bright enough for her to stay up, play with toys, and solve puzzles, so she didn't sleep all night. We used the timer function to solve this problem, but it took care of the buttons so when it goes off it just turns back on. I want control ONLY on the remote control. We want to cover the buttons with cardboard and tape so she can't get to them. There are plenty of sounds to choose from if that's our thing. We mainly use it for lighting. Love all the color options but know it will brighten up the room!
