So, after reading everything about sound cards, I made the decision to get this G6. When used in conjunction with my Cloud Alpha, their own microphone's sound quality and volume threshold have both significantly improved (although it's unclear why this is necessary given that the noise level in the building site is already very high and at its maximum). And from there, I'll go on to the issues (not smoothly). - There are serious issues with this particular microphone and the software. I was unable to speak in direct mode because the microphone would not be recognized. In sbh, however, even with the transducers off and everything else in place, I could still be heard (with the listening mode turned off). I fixed everything after two hours of tambourine dancing, and yes, I could hear much better. I also didn't need to adjust the sensitivity to prevent broadcasting other people's sounds. The majority of these sound settings are superfluous, and the quality hasn't altered enough to warrant paying $13,000 for it. However, the volume cap has increased significantly. This box is heated. This card felt warmed up to 50 degrees at the bottom after a day of use. Although that shouldn't be an issue, I feel it's important to mention. Possibly, perhaps sound cards should be used when your headphones are significantly more expensive or you need to improve the microphone's quality, but I won't suggest pairing them with cloud alphas. Everything said is accurate, excepting the far from ideal convenience of software, but only if a bear hasn't trodden on my ear or if I still have at least one gyrus in my brain.
