Review on 🌸 Lavender Fields: Mary Ellen Products Alt Starch Alternative - 16 Oz for a Fresh and Crisp Finish by Stan Myers

Just what you need for quilting!

I started knitting during the pandemic. I was frustrated when my favorite starch, which I've used since college days, left burn marks on my $70 flat iron, showing all over the white fabric I used on my most recent quilting project. I decided to try this strength. Alternative after reading rave reviews on quilting blogs. I'm glad I did. I was able to safely remove burn marks on my iron with Dritz before using this starch alternative. I love this product. I have NO more burnt starch on my iron and have been ironing a lot. There is no grain either. This is a different product than the regular grocery store starch spray. It squirts like water and I don't feel like the starchy kind lasts until it dries unlike my old strength. I'm really confused as to why anyone would use this product to soak an item and then give it a star. Review. This product is designed to be sprayed on and then ironed on. I'm not a big fan of the scent. Nice but doesn't smell like lavender. A lavender bush grows in front of my house. I know what lavender smells like, and when a product is advertised as having a lavender scent, it usually smells like lavender. But not this product. I also bought a flaxseed scent and it doesn't smell like typical flaxseed products either. The smell is just normal. This company definitely needs help with fragrances, that's for sure. The product is still indispensable if you sew and iron a lot!
